Oak River Warranty Information
All bags purchased from Oak River Company and Oak River Company retailers are given a registration card upon date of purchase, registration cards must be filled out and sent in to Oak River Company. If a customer does not send in a registration card, Oak River Company will not be held responsible for repairing or replacing any merchandise issues that customers may have in regards to the craftsmanship of Oak River Company products.
Oak River bags are covered by our limited two (2) year warranty for defects in materials and craftsmanship. Our warranty applies when the product is used for the purpose intended, under normal conditions, and does not apply to damages caused by typical wear and tear, unreasonable use, or neglect. Craftsmanship includes sewing and riveting. Materials include all zippers, buckles, D-rings, snaps, and any other parts utilized in the manufacturing of our bags.
After a thorough bag evaluation, if Oak River determines damage is due to defects in materials and craftsmanship, the bag will be repaired free of charge.
If the item is deemed irreparable, we may, at our discretion, replace it with a bag of equal or lesser value that may differ from the original bag. If Oak River elects to replace the item, a replacement bag of equal or lesser value must be selected and claimed within 31 days by the customer from when the customer is notified. If the customer does not select a replacement bag and wishes to have their original bag back, they must contact Oak River within the same 31-day period after being notified; otherwise their original bag will be recycled. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to replace the original irreparable bag with a new version of the same bag.
If the bag is not able to be repaired and the owner chooses not to accept a replacement bag, the bag will be returned as is.
CLAIMS PROCESS
Consumer MUST register their bags upon purchase either by mailing in their registration card or by clicking on the "Register My Bag" link located at the bottom of each page on our website.
Consumer must make contact with an Oak River Company representative either by phone or email: 478-919-4366 or [email protected] to file a claim. Upon contacting Oak River Company you must submit a photo of bag issue. Oak River Company will verify that you have registered your purchase, as well as verify that your purchase is still within the 2 year time frame of repair or replacement. If you did not register your purchase, Oak River Company will not be held responsible for repairing or replacing your Oak River Company Products.
Once verification process takes place, consumer will be responsible for shipping back their product to: Oak River Company, 1621 S. Houston Lake Rd, Kathleen, Ga 31047. Once Oak River Company receives your damaged goods we will send out replacement or repair within 5-7 business days of receiving the product in the warehouse.
Oak River Company WILL NOT ship out replacement until damaged product is received into the warehouse. No exceptions. Thank YOU!
